Visionary Goals

East Side Heroes has several service goals. East Side Heroes hopes to implement its’ unique and effective mentoring style into all non-profit and educational settings that serve at-risk youth. The East Side Heroes’ Mentoring Style has been developed and refined over the past 10 years by its’ founder: Enrique S. Flores. Currently, the YWCA of Silicon Valley’s has adopted the East Side Heroes’ Mentoring Style to serve over 400 high school students within its’ “Project Inspire” After School Program.

Another goal of East Side Heroes is to begin facilitating 3-day renovation retreats to serve primarily college-age students and other young adults who find themselves seeking: inspiration, healing, and clarity of purpose. Enrique identified “The 35 Ideal Strengths” necessary for any individual to reach the ultimate level of Leadership, also known as: “A Self-Actualized Hero”.

East Side Heroes also hopes to raise sufficient funds to continue awarding academic scholarships and also be able to hire a full time staff and grant writer in order to help achieve a large scale expansion of East Side Heroes’ “Chapters” throughout California.
