1.) Gift Certificates to Lucky's or Safeway Grocery Stores to purchase food items for Bar-B-Q's for mentor-mentee gatherings.
2.) Gift Certificates to Shell or Cheveron Gasoline Stations for field-trips and "mentoring outings".
3.) Gift Certificates to any clothes stores to replace and purchase non-gang clothing and interview-clothing in order to support the decision of teens who are transitioning out of the gang lifestyle.
4.) Gift Certificates to food eateries or restaurants for mentoring sessions, such as: Togo's Sandwiches, Subway Sandwishes, Denny's Restaurants, Fresh Choice Restaurants, Applebee's Restaurants, Roundtable Pizza, Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Chilli's Restaurants, or similar.
5.) Gift Certificates to AMC Movie Theatres, Century Movie Theatres, or Camera 12 Movie Theatres.
6.) Gift Certifcates or Tickets to shows or games like: San Francisco Giants Baseball Stadium Tickets, The San Jose Improv Comedy Club, HP Pavillion Events, San Francisco 49ers or Oakland Raiders Football, San Jose State Event Center Tickets, etc.)
7.) Computer Lap-Tops or Desk Tops.
8.) Monetary donations for future academic scholarships (for both private high school and community colleges), as well as memberships to fitness gyms, dance studios, summer school classes, educational camps & retreats.
9.) Volunteers to become an East Side Heroes' Certified Mentor (requiring 6 hours of individual informational training, and on-going coaching by a mentor-instructor)
10.) Seeking Volunteers with Grant Writing Skills in order to afford to provide a salary for 1 or 2 staff members.
11.) Gift Certificates to Office Max or Office Depot or Target for continues office supplies and school supplies.
12.) A digital camera and video recorder for interviews and to update the website.
